23-051 Bristol
was adopted by an adoptive family in Mesa. They changed her name to
Zoe
. The dog came to them with ear infections in both ears. Prednisone and Mometavet were prescribed; the adopter reported that the ears improved quickly after she started the meds and they have had no ear problems since. Ear infections are very common in Golden Retrievers, so we’re not surprised that one of
Ivy’s
6 puppies, who are part Golden, developed ear problems. The family will need to use
ear cleaner regularly to be sure the infections do not return.
Bristol
was the one puppy that most of our
applicants wanted, as her coloring is unusual.
Instead of a plain vanilla/beige coat color all
over like the other pups,
Bristol
is white with patches of rust; very attractive. At
Fry’s
grocery store in their stuffed animals collection, there is a puppy that looks a lot like
Bristol
, so I think of her every time I see the stuffy.
