Thunder bounced into Rescue at 6 months of age with owner claims of not enough time for him. We saw that picture clearly – a young, boisterous 60-pound Golden needing some training and lots of attention. Fortunately, we have plenty of adopters willing to offer a young dog just that! Pam initially fostered him and said he was very cute and smart, however that “little grin” of his was not so cute at 2 AM. Fortunately for her, he thundered over to his adopter's house the very next day. They wrote to us: With a name like Thunder we expected the worst from our rescued six-month old puppy. What we received was the total opposite, the sweetest, best-behaved puppy anyone could ever dream of. A true Velcro dog, he’s seldom far from either of us and has brought us total joy and love. Thank you, Rescue, our lives are so enriched by Thunder. Yep, a 6 month-old Golden puppy will do just that!
