Layla is a young, 1-year-old red dog surrendered to us by her original owner who had health issues. The owner had taken great care of her, as was evidenced by spending thousands of dollars to get her over parvo when she was quite young. She arrived spayed, up to date on her vaccines, housebroken, and reportedly was a pal to kids, cats, and all who met her. She was placed within a week of our intake call with an adoptive couple, who were eager for her to join their family. A report from the adopter indicated her first few days were going well, and that Layla had bonded herself to him. Way to go, Layla. Showing people you adore them gets you a long, long way!
