14-010 Riley is 14-009 Roxie’s purebred Chocolate Lab sibling. He and Roxie were quite bonded with each other, so keeping them together was a priority. Both dogs lived in a home with kids, cats, and each other but had been kept outdoors for several years. Their adopter wrote to us with an update: We lost our Golden fur baby last September and it took us a good long while to think about getting another. We knew without a doubt that we would get another Golden and my husband had also always wanted a Chocolate Lab. Well, after only a few weeks of being approved by AGR, Roxie and Riley showed up on their website needing a forever home together. It was just meant to be! We were a little hesitant about their ages, as we were looking for younger dogs, but we took a leap of faith and I can’t tell you how happy we are! Roxie and Riley are the biggest sweethearts and we are truly so lucky to have them in our lives. We have fun hiking in Sedona, going for car rides, playing at the dog park and our house feels alive again. We look forward to loving these sweethearts for many years to come.
