Murphy, (formerly known as Ennis) our 15 week old Golden (one of the St. Patrick's Day puppies) came into our home on May 1st joining our 6 year old Golden, Gus. It is a match made in heaven. From the first day, Gus was attached to Murphy's hip, never being more that 3 feet away. Now, Murphy will first check on Gus's whereabouts before doing anything. Gus and Murphy enjoy wrestling with each other and taking walks around the yard along the perimeter of our cinder block wall. They are in the house, out of the house, in/out, in/out all day long. With the increased heat, a revolving door would be great.

We are greatly indebted to Deb Orwig, Murphy's foster mom at AZ Golden Rescue, who instilled routines and procedures that made the transition from her house to our house very smooth and easy. We are embracing all the joys and challenges of puppy life, i.e. - soft, cuddly hugs, a bounce when he walks, a curiosity that is limitless, and piranha-like sharp teeth. It would be great to freeze time to keep Murphy as a puppy longer, but we know he will continue to grow into a mature, handsome Golden.
