I had always dreamed of having a Golden Retriever. When I heard of the rescue organization I knew this was the place to find my Golden. When Lily came into my life, I knew she found a forever home. When she arrived she was nervous. She looked around unsure of her surroundings. Day by day her confidence started to build. She has a playmate, Penelope, who she adores and Penelope adores her. Each day I notice Lily coming out of her shell more and more. Every time I see Lily I feel such a strong bond with her. I  too was nervous at first. I felt like a new mom. I wanted only to do what was right for my Lily. The people at the rescue foundation have been the greatest support system for me. Together Lily and I have started our journey together and look forward to years of blessed happiness and joy.
