Malachi is a 3-year-old Goldendoodle with boundless energy. He has yet to grow out of his Energizer Bunny puppy phase. He loves to play fetch, and the person throwing the ball will tire before Malachi does. He also loves to swim so much he once sprained his tail wagging it while in the water! He has the typical Golden exuberance for meeting people and tends to jump to greet someone, but he is very gentle when he puts his paws on a person’s shoulders. Unfortunately, he seems to have developed some allergies. Many Goldens have sensitive immune systems and develop allergies to certain types of meats, grains, fragrances, or even grass. Malachi’s allergies don’t seem to be too severe; the hot spot he came in with has healed well and, in addition to the occasional antihistamine, he has found a food that helps him itch less. New dad is still working with Malachi’s vet to calm down all of his allergies, but, overall, Malachi, or Mally for short, is doing quite well. He is back to enjoying endless games of fetch, long walks, and dips in the pool!
