Libby, now Halo, came into rescue in the nick of time as she was on the e-list at the shelter due to her medical problems.  She needed all shots and tests other than Rabies.  She had ear infections and infected teeth and needed to be spayed, had a prolapsed uterus and vaginal tumor and possible cruciate ligament problem.  In addition, she had three bullets under her skin.  After taking care of all medical problems other than the ligament, Halo needed injections to make sure her tumor did not return.  After her first injection, Halo went to her forever home in Tucson and completed all her injections and had her ligament surgery.  She has lost weight and gets to go to work with her mom.  She had one more surgery to remove a large mass that turned out to be an infected lymph node so all is well.  Halo is doing great and was on the web and in the running for holiday dog of the year!
