Buster 2 was another one with the same name as a recent rescue, so he got a number 2 appended to his name, too. This sweet and loving 5-year-old was surrendered by a family that lost their home and had to move to an apartment. His owners had taken fabulous care of Buster, but his vet expenses were becoming too much for them, as he had very severe allergies that caused him to scratch a lot of his fur off and chew his paws raw. We had allergy testing done to determine what he was allergic to, switched his food, and started him on customized allergy medication. He is now much less itchy and his fur is growing back. His adopters have told us, We are still trying to find the right combo of food, antihistamines and allergy meds but he is going for walks, playing and having a wonderful life.
