24-056 Jamie is a male stray named by our transporter. The finder thought he is about 18 months old. He was found with a collar but no tags. Finder took him to a vet, discovered he has no chip, and was unable to find the owner. The finder has a Golden of her own and says he is a very typical, high-energy young Golden who gets along well with dogs and people. He is crate trained and knows some basic obedience commands. He is a little thin but seems healthy. She was glad to know he will have a vet exam and be neutered (Note: he received all our standard tests, vaccines and has been neutered). He has caused no trouble in the time they have had him. Our foster family found that Jamie knows how to go in and out a dog door and also knows how to swim. After AGR transported Jamie to his forever home, she reported: Jamie, now Jazz, has a great new home with [an adoptive couple] and family in Phoenix, plus, a cute doggy girlfriend. What more could any dog want? He immediately began to play with Luz, his new girlfriend. Then he found a tennis ball and it was all over for any other toy – Jazz is hooked on tennis balls! The kids had made him some adorable signs and were super excited. The family has a lot of energy and is involved in numerous activities – I’m sure he’ll do great there. A note from adopter: Jamie (n.k.a. Jazz) has been a wonderful addition to our home. He has so much fun playing with our other puppy, Luz . He is so loving and often forgets how big he is when he tries to climb on your lap (even the kids' laps). We are so happy he is part of our family!
