23-054 Ivory  is a 1-year-old not-spayed female Goldendoodle. The owner obtained  Ivory  from a friend in Texas and had a transport company bring her to Arizona. After having her for about 4 months, she realized she couldn’t deal with  Ivory’s  high energy level. The owner described  Ivory  as a sweet, friendly, and joyful dog that deserves a family who has patience to train and give her the exercise she needs. While spending two weeks with a foster couple in Phoenix,  Ivory  made friends with their resident dog,  Sedona , and found her way into their hearts. A meet and greet was arranged with  Ivory’s  potential family where she met  Buddy , the resident dog. Although her fosters were sad to see her leave, they are pleased with her new placement. When she was delivered to an adoptive couple in Mesa,  Buddy  was very interested in seeing  Ivory  again. At first,  Ivory  was a little nervous in her new home, but after being reacquainted with  Buddy  and finding a chew toy, she started to relax. The adopter sent us this message: 

Ivory  has been such a joy to our family! We have always had a busy, full household, but recently when our two kids moved out of the house to attend college , our nine-year-old lab,  Buddy , definitely noticed it; he was clearly sad. Then we adopted  Ivory , and our house became lively again! The dogs love to play together with all their toys.  Ivory  loves to take  Buddy’s  toys and put them in a big pile. She also loves to run after her ball and bring  us lemons that fall off our tree. We are all very happy she has be come one of the family!
