23-011 Wynnie is a 15-month-old spayed purebred Golden. She was surrendered because she wanted to play with the 3-year-old Aussie male, but he would not. She disrgarded his warnings, so he nipped her on her nose. To keep the peace, the owner gave up the Golden. She wrote an 8-page letter with observations about the dog. She related that Wynnie would run to the fridge if she heard the ice cube maker. Wynnie also has a funny snort noise when waiting for a treat or excited about something. Wynnie was placed with an adopter in North Phoenix. Although she has had several dogs in the past, the adopter lives alone, works from home and had no other pets, so she is able to give Wynnie lots of attention. The adopter wrote: 

Wynnie is whimsical, amazing, curious, loving and happy every waking moment of the day. She stays by my side as I work remotely from home. She follows me from room to room, and at least once a day she jumps into my lap and cuddles her neck against me. She enjoys daily walks, riding in the car, playing ball in the backyard, tossing new toys around and making new friends – both human and canine. She curls up in a ball on the couch next to me each evening and sighs with contentment before falling asleep. Her unconditional love has been a lifeline to me, and she’s settled into her new home without hesitation. I’ll ensure she has the most amazing life possible and will be forever grateful for her.
