23-008 Buddy  is a 3-and-1⁄2-year-old Goldendoodle. He was an intact male and was originally surrendered with  23-009 Sunny , a 5-year-old not-spayed Goldendoodle. The dogs weren't particularly bonded, so we adopted them to different families.  Sunny  was placed fairly quickly, but  Buddy  had some problems at the first three fami lies he was placed with – he is a large, strong dog who was never properly trained – in his case, the fourth time was the charm. No vet records came with him, so we had to start the vaccine series and also had to have him neutered. His original owner described  Buddy  as smart, very sweet and a teddy bear. He likes to play fetch with rubber balls. He spent most of his time outside or crated for up to 6 hours . We found the best home for him with an adoptive family in Chandler. When we spoke to him, the adopter confirmed that  Buddy  needs a lot of exercise and loves to fetch a ball. He has a large backyard in which to run, and the adopter occasionally takes him to the local dog park, too. He said: 

Buddy  is doing great! He keeps avoiding the crate.  Buddy  and  Murphy  are doing well together . Very sweet –  Buddy  is making sure he attaches to each of us . He is sitting, enjoying petting, playing – doing everything he should be doing! He is a great dog. 

We are so glad Buddy has such a terrific family now!
