22-039 Phoebe is a 7-month-old female Golden mix (not a Doodle) puppy . Her
owners live in an apartment and realized 5 months after they got the dog that there isn’t enough space. They are also expecting a baby soon and know they won’t have time for a dog. Since the owners got the puppy off Craig’s list, they had her genetically tested and the results were 75% Golden Retriever, 25% unknown. After she was vetted at Academy West Animal Hospital, she was placed with an adopter. He renamed her Ginger . She got along with his resident dog and the neighbor’s Goldendoodle . She loves to frolic outside in the grass, and after having been cooped up in an apartment, who can blame her? Now that she has the freedom of a big yard, she started exhibiting typical puppy behaviors. Behaviorist Sharon McKenzie was called in for a consult and offered good advice. Everything seems to be working out, which is great . Happy new life, Ginger!
