Riley is a 20-month-old male Goldendoodle who is a bundle of energy. His owner felt it would be best for Riley to be placed with a family that would be able to embrace his outgoing personality. His jumping up on his owner had caused her to fall, and it was felt he needed to find another home before he caused her to actually break something. First, it was off to the vet for Riley for the usual exam and the very important valley fever testing. Riley passed his physical with flying colors. He had some training and behavioral issues that needed to be addressed, such as counter-surfing and getting up onto the furniture without being invited. He also had some serious separation anxiety. Our behavior consultant willingly worked with the family to help Riley overcome his issues, and he has greatly improved. An adoptive couple, along with their resident dog and cats, opened their hearts to Riley. Riley is truly one lucky dog!
