Buddy is a 9-10 year-old purebred Golden rescued from the Westside MCACCS shelter.  He was vetted at one of our wonderful partner veterinarians and received all his updated vaccines.  When he was first transported to a potential adopter, there were three guest dogs fighting with Buddy on the leash.  None were inured, but it was felt best to foster him for awhile until the guest dogs departed.  And in the meantime a different adoptive couple were chosen. The transporter wrote: 

Buddy rode very well to his new home. It is a very tiny apartment, but the complex has a really nice gated dog park with lots of grass and shade. Should be just perfect for Buddy.  He seemed to thoroughly enjoy being off leash and running around the park. The adopters were ecstatic at what a nice, calm boy that Buddy is.  He is just perfect.  I told them the vet team would be in touch in a day or two, as he is being treated for kennel cough.
