15-077 Benley came into Rescue with his brother, 15-078 Cheeto, and sister, 15-076 Lola, as their owners were moving to Las Vegas and needed to rehome the three of them. Benley had not been neutered, and that was done along with the removal of a couple of skin tags. An adoptive couple were quite happy to take this handsome boy into his new life with them. We are excited to pass along this update on him:

Benley became a member of our family this past October. We were looking to rescue another dog after losing our 9-year-old Golden unexpectedly this past May. Benley is a beautiful three-year-old male who has fit into our family wonderfully. Our three children and Benley have loved each other since the first day. Benley is very energetic (which can get him into some mischief, i.e. our sprinkler system needs a bit of repair), friendly and smart, and he loves to be the center of attention. After a few days, we noticed he can do a few tricks and he can really put a smile on your face. All who have met him remark on his terrific disposition. He loves to play ball with the kids and really enjoys his nightly walks. The thing he really enjoys the most is cuddling and trying at every chance to be a lap dog. Our second dog Myra, a 7-year-old Lab mix, has adjusted very well, and Benley has helped bring her out of her shell. However, Benley loves to control all the dog toys in the house, as well as Myra, which can make for some interesting maneuvering. In spite of that, they are becoming loving “siblings”. We are all so very grateful Benley has found his “furever” home and hope he has a very healthy and long life with us.
