Maggie was originally brought to a vet’s office by the owner wanting the dog to be euthanized. Since she was only two years of age, the vet of course said no, and talked the owner into signing Maggie over to us. She had obviously recently had a litter of puppies as she was still lactating (which begs the question, “Where were the puppies”?). We guessed that she had lived outdoors, as she seemed to have had no training at all. Obviously she needed to be spayed, which was set up after she was completely through the lactation period. Maggie has been adopted by a couple where we are sure she will go on to better things than producing puppies.
