Horton came into Rescue as a fun-loving, grinning 1-year-old Goldendoodle with the young dog crazies, wanting to play with every dog and person in sight. He initially had issues with drinking water too fast and then redelivering it wherever he thought appropriate. Using an elevated water bowl and a water bottle has controlled his intake and he is now doing much better. When delivered to his new foster home with an adopter and her dog, Gus, he was a bit snippy but calmed down after a good walk. It did not take long for the adopter to sign up for the Foster Failure Club, as she couldn’t stand to think of parting with him. Since Gus and Horton are very similar in size and energy level, we hope they will be terrific for each other. Happy new life, Horton!
