Beast is a lovable one year old golden mix surrendered because his owners did not have time for a youngster because of their time at work.  Beast, now Buddy, is a little plump but healthy and happy.  Buddy is now at his Tucson home learning to be a service dog for his new dad.  "Buddy is doing good.  He keeps me hopping with all his energy.  We've gone through a variety of toys trying to find ones he can play with, but not tear up.  He's got strong jaws.  He has a few bad manners (demanding to be petted, whining, and jumping on us) that we are working on, but over time and with some maturity it should be resolved.  Buddy and I begin Top Dog training this coming Saturday.  This is an 18 month to 2 year commitment, but I have done it once and feel confident I can do it again.  Buddy has great potential so be waiting to hear news of his great strides.  He's a very sweet dog and has settled into our home very nicely.  Thank you for bringing him to us."
