Bibi is a 2-year-old female Golden mix who came to AGR from the Alianza Pro Adoption Rescue in Nogales at the Mexican border. It was believed she had been physically abused by her previous owner and did not like men. Her initial vet work was done with the usual exam, blood work, fecal, microchip and updated vaccines. Bibi was then adopted. However, in early February 2019, Bibi’s adopter reported that Bibi had become very fear aggressive, barking, growling, and lip curling. After evaluation by our AGR behaviorist, it was felt that Bibi would benefit most from some serious intensive boot-camp training at one of our outstanding training facilities. Bibi did very well at  learning not to be so fearful, and her owner will now need to work with Bibi on socialization and leadership training.
