Brody, now called Valor, was surrendered to us in November 2019 when he was only ten weeks old. His owner had developed severe allergies and could not keep him. He looks like a purebred English Crème Golden, but according to his breeder there is some Labrador (18%) on his mother’s side, so we consider him a mix. Since Brody was a puppy, he needed everything a puppy gets: DHPP vaccines, leptospirosis vaccines, bordetella and rabies vaccines. When he is old enough to be neutered, AGR will cover the cost. After he was placed with his adopters, he had to be treated for Giardia and a urinary tract infection, but both have cleared up. Pack behavior usually changes when a new dog arrives. The adopters already had a young male, Indy, and an older female, Sadie, who got along well. When Brody arrived, Indy declared himself to be the boss and started displaying some dominance behaviors not only with Brody but also with Sadie. AGR’s wonderful behaviorist has worked with the family to help Brody, renamed Valor, become integrated into the pack. Other Pictures of Brody/Valor (click to see larger version):
